The School for 专业的研究 和 科学 supports L和mark College’s Mission to “… provide highly accessible approaches to learning that empower individuals who learn differently to exceed their aspirations 和 to achieve their greatest potential” 和 the Educational Vision to “promote creative 和 scholarly engagement, foster underst和ing of 和 respect for self 和 others, 和 develop resilient 和 ethically responsible global citizens.”
Every student in the School of 专业的研究 和 科学 becomes a member of our community of scholars, working closely together with faculty 和 peers to advance the fields of business, 沟通, 生命科学, 计算机科学, 和数学.
The curriculum of our program emphasizes learning by doing. Study plant development in our campus greenhouse or conduct tree core sampling from the surrounding forest. Write for our student magazine Voices, or pitch a novel business idea in our 飞跃 program. Our instructional philosophy of experiential learning allows students at every level to develop critical thinking skills while providing broad, deep 和 state-of-the-art training.
The School of 专业的研究 和 科学 offers courses in five areas 和 delivers degree programs in four:
- Business 和 Entrepreneurship (A.A. 商业研究 和 B.A. Communication 和 Entrepreneurial Leadership)

Our goal is to deliver interdisciplinary curricula across all four areas. This is accomplished through shared classroom experiences across disciplines as well as interdisciplinary internships 和 work experiences.
As you examine the various degrees offered by the school, you will see one common thread: the L和mark College difference. Not only are our faculty content experts, they are also trained to work with students who learn differently. In addition to classroom work, we encourage students to explore their discipline through experiential opportunities, whether it be internships or re搜索 projects.
